A collaborative and empowering approach for leadership and team success
Services
Caladium’s Coaching engagements are customized to support leaders and teams in strengthening focus areas to maximize their full potential. Each coaching engagement is designed to achieve specific performance goals and accelerate effectiveness.
Caladium Executive Coaching provides the following coaching services:

Executive Coaching
Executive Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that helps leaders (and aspiring leaders) become more effective in their current roles and can also help prepare them for future roles. Trust, mutual respect, and honesty are the foundation of our approach because we know our clients need a safe and authentic relationship with their coach to be self-reflective and open to change. Caladium coaches challenge thinking with practices and tools designed to evoke awareness, consider new perspectives, and cultivate learning and growth, focusing on making clear progress toward a clearly defined goal.
An Executive Coaching Engagement typically consists of the following:
-
12 one-hour virtual sessions
-
Sessions scheduled every other week (six months)
-
Coaching agreement – includes desired outcomes
-
Tailored coaching plan to meet specific needs
-
Quick conversations outside of regularly scheduled sessions
-
Mid-point and closing check-ins with coach, client, and manager
-
Summation meeting with critical stakeholders (e.g., Learning and Development)
-
Options to customize with additional add-ons (listed below)
We have found that two weeks between sessions is the “sweet spot”; clients have time to practice a new skill or behavior and are more likely to remember to do so.

Leader Shadowing
If appropriate, the Caladium Coach may shadow the leader to observe the work culture, interactions with direct reports (one-on-ones or in team meetings), etc. This gives the coach deeper insight into the leader’s communication and leadership style and how individuals and the team perceive them. The coach can then debrief quickly with the leader, giving them “in-the-moment” feedback. Shadowing can occur virtually with the coach turning the camera and microphone off after ensuring all participants know the reason for the observation.

Team Coaching
Caladium’s team coaching uses the same thought-provoking and creative process as executive coaching to help teams become more effective. Trust, mutual respect, and honesty are still our approach when working with teams because they also need a safe and authentic relationship with their coach to be self-reflective and open to change. Understanding the current team dynamic and working with the team to create or revisit their vision, values, goals, communication, and trust can increase team engagement and boost collaboration and performance. Caladium coaches challenge thinking with practices and tools designed to evoke awareness, consider new perspectives, and cultivate learning and growth, focusing on making clear progress toward clearly defined goals.
A Team Coaching Engagement typically consists of the following:
-
Six one-hour virtual sessions
-
Up to ten participants per group (team can be broken up by type of work, shifts, etc., to create several groups of ten if needed)
-
Sessions scheduled every other week (six months)
-
Sessions may be a mix of presentations, coaching, and discussion
-
Coaching agreement – includes desired outcomes
-
Tailored coaching plan to meet specific needs
-
Mid-point and closing check-ins with coach, team, and manager
-
Summation meeting with critical stakeholders (e.g., Learning and Development)
-
Options to customize with additional add-ons (listed below)

Motivators - Self
Why We Do What We Do
Understanding what motivates us, inspires us, and what we deem important is a vital first step in self-awareness and improving human performance and effectiveness. Motivators filter and guide decisions uniquely for each person, influencing individual priorities and decision-making.
Motivators provide insight into what we want and believe to be true, important, or fundamental based on our formative years and learning experiences.
What we believe influences our behavior, so motivators can help us understand why we do what we do.
-
Our Motivators combine distinctively for each person to reveal our priorities and guide our decision-making.
-
It is crucial for optimal performance that our motivations are satisfied by what we do. They drive our passions, reduce fatigue, and inspire us.
-
Behavior (how we act) is determined by emotion (how we feel). Motivators are the reason(s) that drive us to want to act in a particular way.
-
Those who understand their natural motivators are far more likely to pursue the right opportunities for the right reasons and get the results they desire.
DiSC & Motivators
DiSC and Motivators are a powerful combination
The perfect companion assessment to pair with DISC, Motivators measures the seven universal dimensions of motivation that drive each of us: Aesthetic, Economic, Individualistic, Power, Altruistic, Regulatory, and Theoretical. If you’re only using DISC, you’re only scratching the surface of what assessments can offer individuals and organizations.
-
Motivators answers “Why?” whereas DISC predicts “How?” a person will behave.
-
Motivators combine uniquely for each person to influence priorities and decision-making.
-
Those who understand their natural motivators are more likely to pursue the right opportunities for the right reasons to get the results they desire
Emotional Intelligence (EIQ) - Identify Emotional IQ Styles
A Key Ability for Effective Leadership
The Emotional Intelligence (EIQ) assessment helps identify how to recognize emotions in yourself and others, an essential ability of effective leadership. The good news is that EIQ can be improved and coached over time, making it an excellent self-improvement assessment.
-
Higher EIQ lends itself to improved decision-making, leadership, and ability to read the emotions of others.
-
Research indicates that EIQ can be learned, and measurable improvements to EIQ are associated with professional and personal success.
-
EIQ heightens awareness and identifies relative strengths and weaknesses based on our emotional tendencies

DiSC Awareness
Access & Understand your Emotional Intelligence through the lens of the four DiSC Styles
DISC Awareness combines the DISC assessment results with the concepts of Emotional Intelligence, creating a dual foundation of behavior and emotional expression. This approach helps us understand and adapt to different behavioral styles with enhanced communication. It also encourages practical engagement with our emotions and the emotions of others.
-
Increase Commitment & Cooperation
-
Build More Effective Teams
-
Resolve & Prevent Conflict
-
Gain Endorsement, Credibility, & Rapport
-
Understand Others (interpersonal skills, communication preferences, behavioral strengths, potential areas of improvement)

Leadership Effectiveness 360
How Do Others See You?
How we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us can be very different. The challenges this may unwittingly cause can create unfortunate workplace inefficiencies that are difficult to resolve. This assessment gives you the insight to unlock and enhance the parts of leadership that are natural strengths and help you work on areas with potential for improvement to make you a more well-rounded, balanced, and adaptable leader.
Whether you are a seasoned leader or just starting, the Leadership Effectiveness 360° supports your leadership journey by:
-
identifying areas of strength and areas needing improvement associated with critical leadership competencies, allowing you to see how others perceive you
-
guiding the creation and execution of a personalized leadership development plan
-
serving as a benchmark in your leadership development
